I shop at my co-op and buy local whenever I can. I take the bus and light rail to work every day. I'm participating in a CSA this growing season (which is limited in Minnesota). I take home the cardboard recyclables from my office and recycle them at home. I own a small, older house with a small yard that contains all-native landscaping. To name a few! |
| Why am I passionate about being green? |
The concept of energy conservation is something my father instilled in me from a young age, and that early exposure enabled me to apply the principles of conservation far beyond energy as I've furthered explored green living. I want to set a healthy and smart example for my (future) kids, so minimizing our environmental impact will become a seamless part of our daily lives. |
