Not only economical and non-pollutant, the ZAPINO Electric Scooter is also powerful with an advanced 3000-watt brushless DC hub motor, perfect for city commuting. Able to reach speeds of about 30 mph, you will be able to keep up with city traffic without contributing to city pollution.
The hub motor in the rear wheel creates more room on-board for additional batteries, greater functionality and performance. This eliminates the need for belts, or chains, resulting in a more enjoyable ride with less vibration and noise, and a smoother acceleration while reducing overall maintenance.

reviewed March 7, 2008 at 4:03 pm When I was in the market for a scooter, if I could have afforded it I would have purchased the Zapino. The 3000W motor is the most powerful you can get on a moped of this class, and it has a range of about 30 miles with a top speed of 30 mph. Really a very cool scooter made by a reliable company.
I've been hearing so many great things about the Zapino that I had to try it myself. As someone who has ridden perhaps 50 different electric scooters, I have to say the Zapino blew me away. The only thing keeping me from buying one is that I already have an electric car and the US economy.
Lithium powered is the only way to go
