I purchased this system a couple months ago so I have had time to see how it works. When there is enough wind it works great but in low wind conditions it actually drains power from the batteries. For instance, my solar panels had my batteries full and it was dumping into the loader when a slow wind came up and immediatly stopped the dumping. Within a few hours my batteries were nearly dead! I'm not sure if the diode is bad or what but it isn't a good thing. I'm not sure how to fix this or even if it can be fixed.

This is an amazing piece of machinery. It has the convenience of both wind and solar power. So its pretty much producing power all the time! And the assembly is so easy, I had no problem connecting everything together and immediately generating my own "green power". The product is very durable, fiberglass blades and sturdy housing means I don't have to worry about it being damaged by debris or the blades flying off in high winds. I am very happy with this product and plan to purchase another hybrid in the next few weeks. With energy prices on the rise and no sight of them dropping, this is a good investment.
