The Compact differs from the Excel in that all three chambers are smaller, which makes the Compact ideally suited to light residential or light to medium cottage use.
As with the Excel, a 2" vent stack attaches to the rear of the Compact. A 1/2" emergency drain at the rear offers protection against heavy or residential use, or prolonged power outage.

Troubleshooting/Known Issues:
With composting toilets you need to make sure you keep the peat moss in the bio drum in an aerobic environment in order for the bacteria to consume the solids/toilet paper. This is done by making sure the compost is not too wet or too dry.
How To:
Need to locate toilet on an outside wall and run the vent pipe through wall or ceiling making sure that it is run at an angle and not horizontal. Horizontal runs might allow odors to get trapped and hinder air flow.
