Pros: price

Cons: lack of detailed specs
Energy Star???
ruralmcguyver reviewed July 7, 2008 at 11:26 am

If a product wants to brag of their "Energy Star" rating, they should back it up with detailed specs.!!!

It took too much searching to even find the amperage rating for this fridge (this is one of the specs. used to calculate yearly cost). The listed spec. on this was: 15 amps. LOL!!! If this little thing draws 15 amps, it's one of the biggest energy hogs around! A fridge this size should draw no more than 3-4 amps at startup, and quite a bit less than that once it's running.

Overall: Summit needs to be more comprehensive with, and update their specs on "Energy Star" appliances. Consumers who know how to research specs. before buying would think less of any manufacturer that doesn't.
