I have bought the unscented in the past, but they were out of it when we went to the store. This detergent smells great though, and works wonderfully. You don't need to use a lot, the dishes get clean, it doesn't make my hands sore. And I love the quote on the bottle about how much oil is saved from making the switch! The packaging is made of at least 25% post consumer recycled plastic.
It was a little watery, but worked just as good as any of its non-natural ingredient counterparts.
I really didn't think that this dish soap worked all that well, especially for the price paid. It really just didn't live up to my expectations from Seventh Generation and all the hype about their products.
I started using this back in January when I had to start giving my daughter bottles. I wanted a dish soap that was natural and safe for my baby. I did not see the point in using more than one dish soap, so I also began using it on our regular dishes...and I have never gone back to my old dish detergents. This is affordable, effective (cleaning/grease cutting) & I love the lavender scent to it.
