Pros: smells nice and lathers nice

Cons: ingredients say conventional
Purchase Date:May 2009 Purchase Price:$1.50
not pure or natural

I gave them a 1 star rating on the eco-score instead of a half start rating because they donate to the World Wildlife Fund and some of the packaging on the soaps is reusable. But that's the only reason. Nothing about this product's ingredients are pure or natural. I picked a bottle up because it was on half sale and I had a $1 coupon off, making it $1.50 to try it out. I was in a rush or I wouldn't have wasted the $1.50 after I read the ingredients. Unfortunatly I didn't think to read the ingredients until after I got in the shower because the lather felt wrong for a natural lather... and I knew why as soon as I read the ingredeints. If you just showed me the ingredients to this product I would tell you it's a conventional product, I would never believe they would try to pass this off as a natural products- and that's scary because I have the hypoallergenic kind. So instead I'm telling you it's a seriously greenwashed product, almost as badly as method is greenwashed- and working on the popularity method has too, unfortunatly. The company has the image down, and figured out cool labling will sell the products, hopefully they eventually actually make safe, green products too...

Just wish it was organic

I really wish it was organic! I got the mint scent and two of the soap scents. Pleased overall, Just as pleasing as any other body wash I've used but the soaps aren't very scented. I would prefer an all organic product and LOVE that they use recycled packaging (the soap packs are plantable? Haven't tried that yet, but I have still got them)

Pros: Lathers well, leaves me feeling clean

Cons: very basic
Purchase Date:May 2008
Not great, but certainly not bad

I can't say there's anything in particular that's wrong with this stuff - if you want something basic, natural, minimal fragrance, etc. then it's perfect. It's just that I've used some other body washes that are a bit more invigorating in the mornings - a bit stronger smelling, leave that fresh feeling on your skin (like Dr. Bronners).

Anyway, it's a great body wash and feels very natural, which is probably what they were going for...I just don't think it's right for me.

Pros: Lathers well

Cons: Nearly scentless
Effective body wash
Lola reviewed May 16, 2008 at 9:24 am

This body wash lathered and washed well, but it's nearly scentless. (I tried the Cleansing Rosemary & Mint). If you want a scentless, natural, effective body wash, this is for you! But I, personally, like more yummy scent in my body washes -- hence the three-star rating.
