reviewed July 19, 2008 at 8:53 pm I got some of this lip balm as one of the prizes from the second Huddler contest. It's definitely good stuff - lots of natural organic ingredients, moisturizing, has a nice flavor (egyptian fennel with grapefruit and sweet orange), has lots of vitamins, etc.
The one issue is the price (which fortunately I didn't have to worry about!). It comes in a tube a bit bigger than your standard chapstick, but costs $13 a pop. I'd have a hard time forking over that much for a tube of lip balm, but it's definitely really good quality.
reviewed January 14, 2009 at 11:48 am First off, let me just say I love this Pangea lip balm. I have the Lavender Cardamom and the Egyptian Fennel kinds. Both smell wonderful and not too strong. The lip balm goes on really smoothly and moisturizes nicely. It's not at all sticky (which is a good thing for your own sake and the sake of anyone you plan on smooching).
The only thing is...it's a little expensive. I was lucky enough to pick up two sticks of Pangea Organics Lip Balm at the SF Green Fest for 50%...even still, it was $6 for a tube of lipbalm. $12 does seem a little much. But I suppose the tubes are a good size, a little goes a long way, and it's a great product. All in all, I love it.
