Good, but not great

I had one of these, and they're solid, but nothing special. I think they're designed to go for the same market as Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, but those are far better (albiet not organic). These taste a bit bitter, and they're tiny too boot.

Pros: Organic

Cons: Tastest kind of cheap, a little too sweet, high chocolate to caramel ratio

I was hoping I would be able to rave about these caramel cups considering Paul Newman did some great charitable stuff...but....I can't.

These Newman's Own Carmel Cups just aren't cutting it for me.  They're a little bit too sweet and the caramel squishes out a bit if you bit it the wrong way (how can you bit a piece of chocolate the wrong way?  I don't really know, but I do know I had caramel squishing out of the side of the chocolate cup).

The other thing is the quality tastes...a little cheap.  I don't quite know how to describe it.  It's like the difference between See's Candies (or Godiva if that's your quality chocolate of choice) and Hershey's kisses.  It doesn't taste as rich as one might hope.

I also like more caramel in my chocolate/caramel combinations.  I usually hope for caramel wrapped in chocolate.  This was chocolate with a little bit of carmel juice inside.
