User Reviews: Kohler K-3519 Highline Comfort Height 1.1 gpf Toilet
All User Reviews
This is an outstanding toilet for people who wish to trim their water bills because it uses just 1.1 gallons per flush. It is among the most powerful toilets on the market, rated for 1,000 grams of flushing power (average human solid waste is 250 grams) and virtually never has to be flushed twice. It is considerably quieter than the other pressure-assist High Efficiency Toilet I have in my home. It has a large 10" x 12" water surface area. Its relatively high 17" height makes it easy to arise for baby boomers with creaky knees. This toilet never overflows, and the tank does not sweat, eliminating mold that can grow on the wall behind the tank of ordinary toilets.
Kohler, an established company, offers this toilet in designer colors (which cost a little more than standard white). The Sloan pressure-assist tank carries a ten-year warranty.
A relative of mine installed three in his house and he is very happy with them, and a friend is also very satisfied with the one he installed recently. The flush is sudden, so it takes a little getting used to, but it refills very quickly and it's probably the quietest pressure-assist toilet on the market today.
