Wiki: Hydron Module H018 410 Single Speed Heat Pump
OWNER REMINDERS:
- Check filter(s) every 2 weeks, replace/wash at least once a month. Poor heating during heating season indicates a dirty filter. Poor cooling during air conditioning season indicates a dirty filter. Low air circulation during any season indicates a dirty filter. Operation without a filter clogs heat exchanger and may necessitate extra service. Always shut down the Hydron Module before removing a filter.
- Be sure hydronic loops (load side of Hydron Modules) are free of air. Check vents before each heating and cooling season.
- Know which switch/fuse or circuit breakers feed the Hydron Module. Shut the Hydron Module off and contact your Installer Service Tech anytime you suspect mis-operation. Check the disconnect switch/fuse or circuit breaker whenever the Hydron Module stops and its thermostat or control signal is on. Report any repeated outages to your Installer-Service Tech. Shut the Hydron Module off during any power outage. Switch it on only after you are assured electrical service is continuous and voltage is proper.
- The following may save unnecessary service calls. The high and low limit sensors usually operate because of a correctable condition.
- Dirty filter(s).
- Closed air diffusers or return registers.
- Inoperative blower motor or broken belt.
- Insufficient water flow.
- Inoperative or restricted hydronic circulators.
- Blocked coils, convectors or radiation.
