I beleive this is the best washer you can buy! I have owned this model frigidaire (was model FWT449GFS, older model of this washer but looks almost the same unit) Now my wife has ran this washer in our basement for 9 years, 11 months, now you must know that in my house my wife runs this washer everyday all day long! now thats almost 10 years of almost continous use and get this: today 01/13/2009 it has had its first breakdown! (WOW! 10 years!!!!) Yes it finally died today and will need to be replaced. I am going to buy this newer version to replace it...it should last another 10 years too. And it is now on sale at sears for $598 about $230. less than what I payed 10 years ago!
reviewed October 23, 2008 at 10:03 am I love this. It is my first washer, I was raised using laundromats so this is definitely a treat. It is probably on the small side for most, but for a couple it is perfect. It is very efficient although somewhat noisy if your floor isn't solid. (now that I have a laundry room that is on a slab, it is much more quiet.) So far I have no complaints!
