Fig + Sage - organic goodness and fresh eco finds

Fig + Sage is a killer blog if you love all things green and stylish. This sister eco-team reviews products before posting them and only review the products that actually meet their criteria for green. They also offer a handy bit of info on ingredients they avoid. They make a point of noting that current certification for eco products is lacking and one of their goals is to bring consumers info on products so that said consumers can make better informed choices when buying green.

These girls dig deep and don't put up with greenwashing of any kind which I really like. (Yes, they've even called companies and certification organizations to get the real 411 on products).

Fig + Sage covers eco-friendly gear and products for the home, kids, beauty, and fashion. They post some random edibles as well. This is not a place for purely eco-tips, more tips on what's smart and not so smart to buy. Those are tips of a sort, but I mean I've never seen "ten ways to recycle" type posts there. Most of the gear they post is drool worthy and fashionable. It's a great blog to visit if you want to learn about current trends in green products.

There are few minor tech downsides of this blog. I'd like larger images and the title font is a little iffy, but overall it's one of my favorite places to see new beauty products and other eco bling.

Oh, and they also offer special deals and savings for readers via their sponsors. I'd tweet with them to get the scoop (see below).
