Great basic transportation with a low price of entry. I ride back and forth to work 2-3 times a week and it does fine on the 8 miles each way. Don't believe you don't have to pedal though unless you don't have any hills between you and your destination.

Great bike for medium hills

Really good bike for the price.  Can't beat $350 that I can see and it actually works.  You definitely get what you pay for.  The tires, peddles, breaks, trottle control and shocks are pretty cheap but usable.  All of these are easily upgradable.  I got the the women's version (without the middle top bar) of this bike for my wife because of all the hills we have.  She has no problem going up medium sized hills.  The extra slot for a second battery is nice but not neccessary if you are going less than 20 miles.  One major downside to this bike is that it is really heavy, especially if you are a woman.  My wife can't put this bike on the bus bike rack on her own with the battery attached.
