This is a fantastic facial toner. The bottle recommends applying pre-moisturizer to first clean pores and then increase absorption of the moisturizer...this definitely fits the bill. But it's so moisturizing that I find I hardly need additional moisturizer after application (and I am a facial moisturizer addict -- Earth Science Almond-Aloe...see my review).
I used to use straight witch hazel as a facial toner (and this is one of the primary ingredients in this toner), but I find this one much less drying. It's really great. Minus half a star because it's not totally cheap, but the bottle should last awhile....
