Asko WCAM1812 Washer/Dryer Combo

Quality Always Come from Dedication

It all began in 1950 in Vara, Sweden, when Karl Erik Andersson received his first order for a washing machine, from his mother. The farmer, Karl Erik, thought about it carefully and produced a washing machine that didn’t look like washing machines did in those days. Word of the revolutionary model spread and nothing’s been the same since. Karl Erik built a small factory on the farm and started making washing machines full time. A few years later he built his first dishwasher and tumble dryer. Business gathered momentum and more and more dishwashers, washing machines and dryers left the door of the small factory in Vara. Today, there are around 1,000 employed at production plants in Sweden and Finland, and countless more in sales companies in 35 countries around the world. In 1987, they opened their office in North America and today they are proudly sold by the number one team of independent dealers and distributors in the appliance industry. They are well aware that they have customers all over the world, all of whom place high demands on design, function and care for the environment.

In 1999, their environmental work had advanced so far that they received environmental certification in accordance with ISO 14001. This meant a great deal to them, but even more for you and the environment.

No space? No ventilation? No problem!

This Machine SUCKS
blondechick reviewed August 3, 2009 at 9:56 pm
We are staying at a Condo in Las Vegas that has the ASKO WCAM 1812 in the rooms.  I tried to put in 2 shorts (1 Khaki, 1 denim), 2 Shirts (T-Shirt, Polo Shirt) and 2 socks and 2 underwear to wash the first night.  According to the controls it washed, then rinsed then said it was drying.  In the morning the clothes were still wet--not soaking wet, but spun out wet.  Like when your washing machine is done--but not your Drier!!  The maintenace man from the place came out and reset something in the machine.  I finished that load, but I had to take the clothes out and hand them on hangers and leave them on the hot Las Vegas poorch to finish drying!  Then I tried another load, with some althletic clothes (synthetics) and it started to burn them (not flaming, but you could smell something scortched!)  I could hardly take them out they were so HOT--but not DRY!!  I had to lay them out to dry and they were very badly wrinkled.  Then I went to do a third load and it went through the motions--but again--did not DRY.  Your better off buying a washer and hanging your clothes to dry than to get this machine.  It is more trouble than it is worth!
