Amana ADB1500AWB 24-in. Under Counter Dishwasher

I bought this dishwasher because it is rated an "energy star" and when you are on a well, water usage is utmost important.  This dishwasher gets dishes and pots and pans spotless using a variety of different types of detergent.  It has a feature that will heat the water hotter for a better wash, therefore letting me leave my hotwater heater set 120 and let the dishwasher "super heat" just the amount it needs to do the dishes and pans.  The only down side I can find to this unit for me is the 2 small liftout silverware/small item baskets.  They do not seem to hold a lot of tableware.  Most other dishwashers I have owned had much bigger tableware liftouts.  Not really a problem for me, as I am single, but for someone with a family it could be a bigger concern.  The other thing that is a kind of bugger feature is that most frypans do not fit easily in the bottom rack.  SO far the only one that will is the 8" fry pan.  Bigger than that and it affects the upper rack and the ease of pulling out.

Unit is fairly quiet, even though I do not have mine built in as of yet-I still do not have my kitchen cabinets or countertop in yet and had to rig this unit up so I could stop doing dishes in my bathroom sink!
