Electric Motorsport GPR-S: Up close and personal with Huddler

Today, Teej and I got a chance to pop over to see the GPR-S Electric Motorcycle from Electric Motorsport.

The guys from Electric Motorsport were nice enough to show us their shop where they had lots of lithium batteries and a few bodies of bikes they were working on.

After we checked out the electric motorcycles in the shop, we got to see one in action.  AND!  Yes, there's an "and."  Teej got to take a little spin around the block (driving) and I got to take a little spin around the block (as a passenger).  It was very fun.  I'm not the most experienced when it comes to motorcycles and scooters but it was fairly different from being a passenger on the Vectrix.

The GPR-S is quite light and seems easy to maneuver.  It's also amazingly quiet, like other electric scooters and electric cars...but I really can't ever get over it.  It wows me every time.

In any case, here are two little videos...the first is the intro to the bike and the second is a lovely little montage of the bike ripping around.  And head on over to the Electric Motorsport GPR-S product page to see more pictures and what not.

I posted my impressions from the ride in a review.

Overall, it's a fantastic option for anyone that's looking for an all-electric motorcycle with great performance.  More people need to be considering bikes like this for commuting.  It's a ton of fun and the operational costs are incredibly low.

If you have any additional questions about the bike, please just reply to this thread.
