Hello Huddlers. As many of you know, we've been debating how big to make our product taxonomy for a long time. Most recently, we've decided to expand it out to include most all the suggestions that you have made.
One side effect is that it breaks the paradigm of the 5 product profile tabs that we're all accustomed to (or maybe just me.)
Also, we've had many, many people say, "Why, if I add a car to my product profile do I have to specify that it goes under 'Transportation'?" Well, there was a good reason for that, but maybe it would be better if we just made the tabs the same as the Product Categories (e.g. Transportation, Personal Care, Clean Green, Sustainable Foods, Green Resources)
This way, you could just click "Own It" "Want It" etc. and it'll just go to the right tab. The downside is that we'll probably have 8 tabs, which is a lot. Whaddya think?
