Pills for your tank?

Anyone heard of Fuel Freedome International? It is pills you put in your tank, they are supposed to reduce emmissions, raise your mpg's and help make your consumption a bit "greener".

A coworker told me about it. He said his wife at UPS just started using the pills in her truck.

Eh, sounds like a scam.  The car equivalent of a placebo.  There's all kinds of products out there that claim to increase your fuel efficiency, but if any of them actually worked, everybody would be using them.

I was totally thinking so myself. But it seems UPS is looking into the company seriously.

Wouldn't it be great if a product really exisited?

Yeah, and I'm sure if UPS tests it out and determines that the pills work, we'll be hearing about it all over the place.  With gas prices going ever upward, fuel efficiency is on everyone's mind these days.
