Obama had a huge win in Iowa.  He carried the caucus with 37.6%, while Edwards came in at 29.7% and Hillary came in at 29.5%.  Richardson followed up in fourth with 2.11%.  On the Republican side, Huckabee led the pack with 34.4%.  Romney held 25.3% and Thompson and McCain both followed up with just over 13% a piece.  (NY Times, 4 January 2008)

Obama's victory speech was passionate and inspirational. Because of his limited track record, I'm still a bit skeptical of his ability to actually execute on everything he's suggesting, but I love that he's waking up some disenfranchised Americans and inciting action. It's a great start.

On the other side, I'll never understand how McCain is so far back....
