Natural Stone Radiators / Marble Heating

Hi all,

the award winning natural stone radiators are now available in Canada and the United States. Crafted from marble, granite and limestone sourced from across the world, each item is unique with it’s own distinguishable natural pattern.
Complementing any interior design style these versatile units can be mounted in various positions and are available with a choice of accessories such as towel rails and are compatible with electric and central heating systems.

But it’s not all about appearances. Natural stone is a material with one of the best heat retention properties available. This means that you will not only get a superior heating performance but also enormous energy savings. Natural stone electric radiators are the most energy efficient form of electric heating on the market today!

Hi Bosko,

The efficiency or COP of the stone heaters will still be 1. New air source heat pump is expected to be 3.0 or better and ground source heat pumps are normally better than that.

These might look nice and have uses but they are definitely not an efficient form of electric heating and even more so not 'the most energy efficient form of electric heating on the market today'.

Due to the heat holding characteristics the stone heaters may be a marginal improvement over an electric radiant heater but not much and that would not affect the COP number.

Say for example:

A COP (efficiency) of 1 (standard electric radiant heater or stone heater) = a monthly bill of 100 USD
A COP (efficiency) of 3 (air source or ground source heat pump) = a monthly bill of 33 USD

No form of electric radiant heating can approach the new heat pumps.
