The synergistic effects of the permanent magnet brushless motors with its soft-geared controller overcome the serious disadvantages of traditional motors. A New patented technology takes the advantages of computer control engineering technology and Zero Commutation theory, to achieve zero current gear shift for the EV/LEV applications.
The new revolutionary technology enables motor efficiently to operate in startup mode, acceleration and on the flat road because the overall speed range of the motor can be extended by switching the stator current to flow through one or more segments of the stator winding, thereby dynamically adjusting the number of "active" turns of the stator winding. It has a higher torque at low speeds, providing good starting and climbing performance for a vehicle fitted with this motor. The motor can operate efficiently at moderate and high speeds, and can be controlled using a simple control system, thereby enabling simplified operation of the electric vehicle fitted with this motor.
