BioFuel sweeps Naples, Florida

I wanted to share with you what a group of guys are doing here in Naples, Florida. They are converting disel Mercedes to run on Veggie Oil. There's a "fleet" of these cars driving around town. The "leader of the pack", Capt. John (he's a real Capt. of a boat) is also the main drive in getting school buses converted, etc.

Every E-day he sets up a booth to showcase the process and the cars. Last year's big project was the conversion of a school bus for a church.

That's awesome - the CEO of my former employer cruised around in an OLD Mercedes powered by BioDiesel - the thing was like the company mascot, everyone loved it.

From what he said, the conversion process was very straightforward and ongoing maintenance was really anything more than a normal car...I'll have to see if he or someone else can write up a wiki article about it.
